An antique, Victorian Scottish School silver medal dating from c1896.
This medal was awarded to John Gibson, Sixth Standard 1896. It was presented by John A Brown esq.
The sterling silver medal is hallmarked with the makers mark “RS” for Robert Scott, the Lion Rampant sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town mark and date letter “z” for 1896/97.
It measures 35mm in diameter.
