205 (Scottish) Field Hospital is Scotland’s only Army Reserve Field Hospital. They are a hospital just like any other with the same highly trained clinically current professionals providing first class healthcare delivery.

They can be deployed to Operations across the world providing secondary healthcare to both soldiers and civilians during conflict, peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.

On their return the experience, leadership and additional skills from working in challenging environments are then transferred back into their careers within NHS Scotland.

In their spare time AMS Reservists train to adapt their medical or healthcare experience to challenging military environments such as temporary Field Hospitals in specially adapted tents or buildings while using simple but current equipment.
