My Poetry. Colour me in.

Please Share me.
In a world of utter contempt,
the spotlight's stolen once more.
What is truly happening on this planet?
Open your mind and explore.

Though hatred still has a major part,
they are a loud minority.
Goodness will always find a way to win,
taking its rightful priority.

What difference does any of this make?
Why do people act this way?
It happens far too much,
time and time again, each day.

Colour, sex, or creed,
religion or politics at its core—
who really cares about the bureaucracy?
Is it worth fighting for?

Be brave, embrace every person,
no matter their sexual choice.
So what if their skin has colour?
Everyone has a voice.

We are tired of bigots and racists
in this new millennium. Just give it a rest.
There are bigger things to worry about;
living this life is a test.

So welcome everyone as a friend,
show this awesome world you care.
No matter their background or belief,
let them live and always be fair.
