Driving requires a concentrated state,
Your entire mind must always stay alert;
Things can happen suddenly, without warning—
To survive, you must truly be an expert.
Animals, or playing children,
Can dangerously pop out from anywhere;
No matter how slow or fast you are going,
You must always take extreme, good care.
The long road can feel mundane and predictable,
Yet drivers will still carelessly change the disk;
A reckless driver putting on their makeup,
Not caring about the incredible risk.
Watch carefully now in your wing mirror,
Be patient with other, slower cruisers;
People who indulge in mindless road rage
Are almost always all-around losers.
Dangerous, focused driving can kill—
All because you failed to concentrate!
It is always better being safe than terribly sorry,
Before it is suddenly, tragically too late.
Keep your speed to an absolute minimum
When you are nearing any schools;
Excited children rush out without warning,
They are too young to care about your rules.
For some, driving is a hard-earned living,
But for many, it's just a means to get from A to B;
Stick firmly to the vital highway code—
Its purpose is clear for all to see.
Remember, at the end of every day,
You are commanding a powerful "killing machine,"
But with consistent, careful, safe driving,
You and your caution will always be seen.
