My Poetry. Expressionless.
You desperately search until there are no places left,
Looking around at a sea of expressionless faces,
Observing humanity's flaws and its own disgraces,
From innocent joy to bodies clothed in seductive laces.
The sound of children's laughter is filling the air,
But when you grow older, nothing seems truly fair.
You yearn to keep yourself youthful, without a single tear,
Attempting to recall your past, yet finding nothing is there.

Knock gently at the door, and you might finally find
People who are truly meek, loving, and kind.
There is no enemy left to defeat, dazzle, or blindly bind,
No hands bleeding, no bandage to painfully bind.
The open heart now captures love, passion, and vital truth,
The body feels alive, strong, encapsulated, and aloof.
There is no need to ever tell a lie, you don't need the proof,
No longer waiting for a fairy to take away a lost tooth.

Embrace a true feeling of strength, with nowhere left to hide,
Forget the pitiful, and reclaim your powerful pride.
Follow the rushing stream, moving toward the ultimate tide,
Fly high to the distant clouds, and gracefully glide.
Trust your fellow man, and conquer all fear within,
Dodge the bullet, or the thrown, sharp spear.
Keep your emotions fiercely under control, hold what you deem dear,
But remember every man has feelings—it is okay to shed a tear.

Promises are often kept, yet sometimes tragically lost,
Keep the fearful shadows away when counting the final cost.
Feeling the sharp ice beneath you, but actively avoiding the frost,
Observing shattered, ancient rocks, now softly covered in moss.
Live fully today, and genuinely care for your precious life,
Turn the other cheek, even if an insult cuts like a knife.
Always remember that in this world there must be strife,
For hunger and widespread famine are sadly always rife.
