My Poetry. Just one Mistake!
She tried very hard to fit in,
But no one gave her a chance;
A new girl in the neighborhood,
A new life she hoped to enhance.

No one ever truly forgives you,
No matter what anyone will say,
Forgetting the bad times she had,
Reliving that horrible day.

All she ever wanted was peace,
An end to the constant strife;
Attending many schools,
She never truly had a life.

Her time was made hellish,
Nearly every day;
A fight that ended in death,
So the defense would say.

But no one would ever forget;
It never made any sense.
Another kid pulled a knife,
He claimed it was self-defense.

Having to defend herself,
Or she would have probably died.
Reputation followed her,
No matter how much she lied.

Always leading to challenges,
With no peaceful intent;
Someone bigger and stronger
Came into her life with bad intent.

But she would always avoid them
Before the day had gone.
Eventually, she had to pull out,
And ran away at dawn.

Despite her dark reputation,
She wasn't any fool;
But one mistake in your life
Is sometimes the iron rule.
