My Poetry. Magnetism

My Poetry. Magnetism
Your gentle charm acts like a magnet's pull;
I am irrevocably drawn, fully inside by you.
Though I have friends in plenty across the world,
the truly close and cherished ones are few.

Long, drawn-out days spent lost in silent dreams
could never hope to replace this wondrous return;
the sky may rumble loud with distant thunder,
but the warmth of your welcome will always burn.

I am joyfully back, and finally all is well now,
returned to this sacred place I call my home.
I felt so empty and utterly adrift without you all;
I know now I need no longer aimlessly roam.

Blue skies now brightly dawn upon this wondrous place,
the sound of true happiness is loud and clear;
to all of you precious people I call my friends,
I love you, and hold every one of you so incredibly dear.

I end this poem now with a genuine smile,
to be back here is purely by some heavenly will.
You all make my days so wonderfully happy,
and sharing these moments with you is a lifelong thrill.
