Texas is more than a band —
it’s a timeless voice that turns memories into melodies.
Sharleen’s vocals still echo like fire and silk, keeping the soul of pop-rock alive.
yes they are still good, thank you mate.
Thanks massively!
always a pleasure pal..
Your happiness is contagious, like sunlight spilling through the clouds.
Being around you makes ordinary moments feel extraordinary.
Grateful for a friend whose joy is a gift to the world.
and I feel the same pal, your a gift online, and I am happy to receive that gift.
I’m so glad to hear that! Your joy makes the gift even more meaningful, reminding me that happiness shared is happiness doubled. Truly a special moment!
indeed it is…. thank you.
Texas was my favorite band* for some years after I was introduced to them via “Black-Eyed Boy” playing on the late, lamented Last.fm feature “Neighbor Radio”. That feature cost me a LOT of money back in the day. I never saw them live (except, you know, video of live performances online) but that’s not surprising since I don’t really do concerts. My current favorite band, Metric, and my current second-favorite band, The Joy Formidable, have both come to town multiple times in the last six or seven years and I haven’t managed to motivate myself to go see either of them. (I did get out of the house to see “Flow” at a nearby concert hall where the local symphony played the score live, so I’m not a total shut-in.)
* These days Texas is my fourth-favorite band, after the two mentioned above and The Birthday Massacre. After #4 I start to have trouble deciding who should go where though.
wow james you have listed a few cool bands here, and I have not seen texas live either except on live shows, the only band I ever saw live was the Proclaimers at the usher hall with my ex mrs, good times, thanks mate..
