Cancer Update.

Hi guys.

Just an update on whats happening with my lung cancer. I went to the Hospital with my daughter yesterday to get the results of my lung biopsy.

I do have lung cancer but the specialist said I am fit enough to have an operation, which will involve cutting off part of my lung where the growth is, and hopefully, fingers crossed it will be dealt with.

I did have the option for chemotherapy but was advised to take the operation which will be carried out in A London Hospital by a specialist who I am going to see on the 11th of August.

I have to have more intense scans done before the op so he can get an up to date picture of what he is dealing with.

The surgery will be keyhole and I will be in hospital for around 6 days.

The healing process takes about 6 months before I am able to do the things I am used to.

I am hoping that will be the end of the matter but you have to be optimistic with these things

I am very lucky because my daughter is supporting me and she has been by my side throughout the process.

Some people have to deal with it on their own and I am super lucky I Don’t.
