Friendship is a quiet flame,
It asks for little, yet gives a name
To laughter shared, to burdens eased,
A bond that grows, a heart released.
It walks beside us through the years,
A steady hand, a shield from fears,
It needs no crown, it seeks no prize,
Just trust that lives in open eyes.
Through storms and calm, through night and day,
True friends will never drift away.
For friendship is a rooted tree,
Its gift: belonging, endlessly.
