
– The brass desk tray has a lovely symmetrical repoussé pattern worked into the base of the tray and is in the Scottish / Glasgow school style.
– Decorated at each end with repousse hand worked patterns of Celtic roses / heart-shaped leaves.
– The corners of the desk tray are pinched and the edge of the tray is folded over, making the pleasing eared or lobed corners to the tray.
– There is no makers mark to the front or rear as far as we can discern, but the style is clear and prominent in this era.
