James Bond 007 is recognised all over the World, but did you know some, nearly most of the Movie locations where filmed in Scotland?

Scotland is a key James Bond location, famously serving as the home of Bond’s family estate, Skyfall Lodge, primarily filmed in the dramatic landscapes of Glen Coe and Glen Etive, featuring the iconic Buachaille Etive Mòr mountain and the A82 road in Skyfall (2012). Other significant spots include Eilean Donan Castle (The World Is Not Enough), Loch Craignish (From Russia With Love), Cairngorms National Park, and Ardverikie Estate (No Time to Die), highlighting Scotland’s rugged beauty in 007’s adventures.  

Key Locations & Films

  • Glen Etive & Glen Coe: The majestic valley and mountains where Bond drives M to his ancestral home in Skyfall, featuring the stunning Buachaille Etive Mòr. 
  • Eilean Donan Castle: Used as the MI6 Scottish headquarters in The World Is Not Enough (1999). 
  • Ardverikie Estate & Loch Laggan: Featured in No Time to Die (2021) for the dramatic car chase scenes with the Aston Martin. 
  • Loch Craignish: The location for the boat chase in From Russia With Love (1963).
