My Poetry. The Balance of Being.
You love or you hate,
You’re up or you’re down;
You’re in or you’re out,
You smile or you frown.
You laugh or you cry,
You see or you’re blind;
You eat or you starve,
You lose or you find.

You scream or you’re mute,
You come or you go;
You’re happy or sad,
You die or you grow.
You like or you loathe,
You’re free or you’re chained;
You think and imagine,
For your brain has been trained.

You promote or ignore,
You rise or you fall;
You keep a poker face,
Standing steady and tall.
You float or you drown,
You give or you take;
You’re either a real person,
Or merely a fake.

You war or seek peace,
You enter or leave;
You start or you cease,
With nothing up your sleeve.
You swim or you sink,
You walk or you run;
You’re either quite serious,
Or prefer to have fun.
