This reminds me of one of David Letterman’s old Top Ten lists, “Top Ten Punchlines to Scottish Dirty Jokes”. It didn’t list any jokes, just (alleged) punchlines. The one I’m thinking of was “Aye, but it took me a fortnight to get out the thistles!”
